Sky watch

This shot was taken this morning at 10:30. All of a sudden the sky went dark and we experience a night at day time. There was a heavy fall of rain accompanied with hail, lightning and thunder. The rain poured hard within one hour that our cellar was flooded. We ended up cleaning the whole afternoon and tried to bring back everything to normal.

That would be a bit frightening to me. It is a good read and a good post for SWF.

I like a good thunder and lightning storm but not one that does damage such as that! Great photo!

What a broody, threatening sky. I see by your comments that it lived up to its potential. Sorry about your flooded basement.

Like this clear light in the skyline, just to give rise to the hearth. Alarming light in fact. Can’t imagine this light at the middle of the day.
