New neighbors

I was brisk-walking around the neighborhood the other day when I saw one of our neighbors putting a “For Sale” sign in front of her house. I had the chance to talk to her and she told me she and her kids are moving to Boston , where her husband was destined for work. I was a bit saddened by the news since I am friends with the whole family. We used to jog around the neighborhood in the morning though lately because of complicated schedules I could not join them anymore.
They will be leaving the next day, so I asked them if they needed help. Good thing I have no work today. She told me the Boston Movers will be fetching their things that day so they will be really busy. Instead of buying fast food, I volunteered to cook lunch for them which she gladly accepted.
The moving truck came before lunch. We had lunch together at home after they were finished putting inside the truck their stuff. It was a fun lunch though a bit sad because tonight is their last night at their house.
